La mort de Barbie.
I couldn't just post a picture of feet. The subject didn't appeal to me. Feet... feet... what about feet? What's different? Well, feet stick out of the bottom of sheets in the morgue with a name tag tied to one of them. Who deserves to die? Barbie. We wouldn't buy our daughter a Barbie when she was small. Then a babysitter gave her one out of pity, I suppose. There's no winning but there is revenge.

The story is terrific, Bob. And you illustrate is so very well.
ReplyDeleteThank you ...
This one made me laugh out loud! Very clever indeed.
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Cold feet I suppose. MB
ReplyDeleteAh the best I've seen!!! Excellent interpretation (and I didn't expect anything less).
ReplyDeleteDelightfully twisted.
ReplyDeleteAh the death of Barbie. I love this. So imaginative and I'd expect no less from you, Bob. Brilliant! Here's to revenge...
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sharon, this one made me laugh out loud. I'm still chuckling. Very unique take on the theme! This was first theme day, just filling in for a friend who had surgery. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment!
ReplyDeleteSorry but she will pop up somewhere else. Barbie will never die.
ReplyDeleteThis might be one of my favorites! Clever photo, love it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely cool! :-)
ReplyDeleteReally, really funny idea for theme day.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about GI Joe, the bane of my existence for years.
You are so mean! Great shot, and job on this theme day
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, you just can't kill Barbie so easily, but good try!
ReplyDeletewell, why I totally agree with your idea, I can only imagine the look of horror that would pass my darling granddaughter's face should I suggest such a thing. I am proud to say I never bought her or her mother a barbie...American Girls, yes, which I am mortified to admit are made in China.
ReplyDeleteBob, this reminds me of Dexter. One of my favorite series on HBO. Very deep with complex characters and complex themes. Go watch Dexter if you are not familiar and you do have to get over the morbid part to the fascinating part. You do have to start with the very first show and watch Dexter straight through as each show builds on the next. My husband cannot even watch one show as he hates blood.
ReplyDeleteWell that's just great. Leave it to you BOb. Anyone that skinny with big boobs deserves it!

Creative, morbid, a brilliant idea, and the tag was the final touch!
ReplyDeleteThat's a terrific idea, Bob...love it!
ReplyDeleteThe Death of Barbie. I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteBob, this one is just hilarious! It made me laugh. That's an art work! The best contribution to the theme day I've seen so far!
