VINCENT SAYS WEAR A MASK

More of Dan Ricketts' downtown mural along with the artist at work. It's a good thing that Van Gogh has something to anchor both earloops with. I didn't see it on the street but now, on the bright computer screen, I notice that this mask is translucent. Ricketts painted the mouth and lower half of the nose before overlaying the mask.

Still a bit more of this to come.

  1. I like this idea of putting famous artists in masks. Very nice.

  2. I like this one too. He probably hadn't cut off his ear yet, otherwise he wouldn't be able to wear a mask :)

  3. I love these murals Bob, despite what they represent they are beautifully executed. I think they should stay to remind us of this incredibly weird occurrence that has happened to the entire world!

  4. Great masks. I do think though, because you can clearly see Vincent's nose and mouth, that his mask is not a good one. Too thin! But then, it doesn't matter...Vincent is no longer with us anyway.
