It's opening week of the St. Louis Cardinals' baseball season. Mrs. C, Emily, Madeleine and I attended last night, watching the local heroes drub Cincinnati 14-3.
Madeleine stayed relatively still! There wasn't much room to wiggle in the crowd and maybe she is growing out of that grab-the-camera-and-look-at-me phase. In the third picture, the Cincinnati center fielder unsuccessfully tries to grab one of the Cardinals' many home runs.
I see from the color of Madeline's ballcap that she's being trained properly. Cardinal fans need to start early.
ReplyDeleteGreat action in that attempted catch shot. Wow, that was a drubbing! I take it the players on both sides were all wearing the 42 jerseys.
ReplyDeleteGetting Madeleine started as a Cards fan early, I see!
ReplyDeleteOur Redbirds beat the daylights out of the Cincinnati team! Yay!
Nice shots! You caught that guy climbing the walls.
ReplyDeleteLovely portrait of Madeleine in the top photo - so glad to see her again. She's adorable. The all red colours around her work really well too.
ReplyDeleteThe third photo remains a mystery to me even though you explained what's going on - can it be part of the game to find yourself climbing fences? It's a hoot. Love that shot!
And to answer your question regarding my panorama, well I've been approached by the local wine council for doing some photos for them I did the photo in question (and a number of others) in the hope to show them what I'm capable of. I hope it's gonna work.
Fun pictures of Ms. M. And your action photo is excellent.
