St. Louis, Eh?

The quintessential Canadian coffee shop chain, Tim Horton's, is expanding all over the United States and it is popping up in The Lou. It was amusing to see a person wearing a large plastic coffee cup costume working the crowd.

By the way, I heard that while Donald Trump is planning a big wall on our southern border to keep Mexicans out, the Canadians are planning a similar structure on our northern flank to keep us out.

  1. Let's hope that no walls have to be built Bob :) I'm off to have a coffee now!!

  2. Actually, the Canadian wall is just a rumor. Their Prime Minister says US refugees are welcome in Canada, and one Canadian location, Cape Breton, has been actively pursuing new residents from this side of the border!

  3. Is it un-Canadian of me to admit I don't go in there? I dislike coffee, have no interest in doughnuts, and find their ad campaigns passing themselves off as the essential element of Canadiana to be annoying.

We're expecting refugees if Herr Trumpenfuhrer somehow swindles his way into the White House.

  4. The Donald was here yesterday and thank goodness I was no where near the area. It was quite the scene of discord.

  5. I am a coffee addict, but I never go to big chains, I prefer family owned places.
