The Fox Theatre during an walk at dusk in the Grand Center arts and entertainment district. (Hey, Johnny Mathis is coming soon!)
The Fox is ming-bogglingly ornate inside, as illustrated in this set of photos I took on a tour for photographers some time ago.

ReplyDeleteLooks so fancy! Love those lightposts too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peak inside the Fox. What a place! Can you imagine what an inside like this would run today?
ReplyDeleteCrap! 'peek', of course.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place Bob. I liked very much walking around that area. Your black and white process here is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I remember it well. I took a tour of it when I was working there and I've the photos somewhere around here. I saw two or three shows there too. Great old place.
ReplyDeleteFrames for these methinks. Johnny Mathis? Wow, I thought he was dead!
ReplyDeleteThat is a grand old sign, Bob, and the details in the bricks are pretty special. Thanks for the link to your Flickr set of interior shots. Literally, "they don't make 'em like that any more."
ReplyDeleteBeautiful architectural details, Bob!
