So Mrs. C sends me a text in the late afternoon - look at the sunset colors! Well, um, since our firm moved a year ago my office is in a northeast corner. We used to get some rip-snorting sunset views from our old building, like this. No more. Well, just look to the south, she said. Really can't do even that from my windows, but I had the little Olympus and craned around the desk as far as I could.
This is what I found, with the orange light reflecting off the windows of an apartment building and the Arch itself.

I guess it will count both as a sunset snap and an arch series photo then!
ReplyDeleteYou will just have to get more inventive Bob, you've had it too easy with Arch proximity up until now :) This image is a ripping start!
ReplyDeleteGreat how the facade of the Arch stil catch some light and that in balance with the light behind the windows. Impressive.
ReplyDeleteThat was worth the stretch. Love those orange windows. This arch 'follows you' everywhere, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fresh angle for the arch, and beautiful light in those last moments of the day.
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of seeing the Arch...in any photograph.
ReplyDeleteYou got a gem.
ReplyDeleteHey, Bob, you do the best you can with what you have around you. This one came out pretty well.
ReplyDeleteHope you thanked Mrs. C for the tip. Well done.
