Madeleine's ceremony took place yesterday at St. John's Episcopal Church across the street from Tower Grove Park. Rev. Teresa Mithen Danieley, St. John's rector, officiated. My daughter and Teresa have known one another since they met in a summer program at age 12. They were high school classmates at St. Louis' small, superb Crossroads School. That's Teresa's almost four year old, Lucy, peeking up behind the font.
I like the eye contact in the first picture. Below, Madeleine tries to do a back flip into the water.
Betty Grable was baptized at this font. She was a St. Louis native and her family were members of St. John's.

Nice reminder for the family album again. Madeline has such an characteristic face but I have still no clue on who she look most.
