Oral Fixation

Renaissance Faire 2014-05-25 27

Thank you for the clinical observation, doctor. You are seeing about one-fourth of the blade of that sword in the first picture. I took a bunch of shots in this sequence and unless the performer was using mirrors, lasers and magic mushrooms to deceive the audience there was only one place for the rest of it to go. Sugoi! as my Japanese teacher used to say when I got something right.

And, by the way, is there a dentist in the house?

There are a couple of good things to shoot today, the street soccer tournament for homeless and formerly homeless people I mentioned yesterday, as well as the Pagan Picnic, the annual gathering of all Wiccans, goddess worshipers, Druids, crystal healers, dream-catchers and telepaths, along with their significant others. It's so great that St. Louis is weird enough to have an event like this. Problem is there is a near-certainty of heavy thunderstorms but no one can say when. Better bring a couple of trash bags  to protect the gear. Maybe for me, too.

  6. I'm always worried when I see a stunt like this one. You could probably sell him the photo.
