Quick Saturday morning post from the airport on our way to Chicago. The family went to the first game of the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers last night. I got to the stadium early to shoot the pre-game rally. The home team won 3-2 in a marathon 5 hour, 13 inning game.
The man in the third picture is a local institution. Paul Pagano, 90, calls himself Father Time. When he was able to drive he used to tool around downtown in a van covered with patriotic slogans and loudspeakers blaring God Bless America. I'm glad to see that his grandsons still get him out. Who let that last guy in?

Terrific crowd shots, Bob! Good for the Cardinals!
ReplyDeleteEach to his own I guess. Great with all the red.
ReplyDeleteBeing a lifetime Dodger fan...I reluctantly congratulate you on your Cardinals victory last night!!!
ReplyDeleteNice crowd shots. I love the girl in the second photo as well as the ecumenical spirit of including a Dodgers fan.
ReplyDeleteI watched the game through seven innings. Tight game.
Amazing game -- nice series.
