I'm sitting at home watching Thursday night's game as I write this (and again distracted from commenting). The Cardinals just lost to Texas 2-1. Too much tension at bedtime for me so here are some more scenes from Wednesday.
I really enjoyed your series form the game. I went over to Julie's grandmother's care home to watch game 2 with her. We enjoyed the game a lot until the top of the 9th inning. But we consoled ourselves by rationalizing that this means that there will be at least one more game in the baseball season before the Cardinals claim the championship.
A wonderful collection of images today. I watched it, too (with a laptop open to the blogs). I don't have a favorite, so I just admire the good plays. Like the Texas SS and 2B making one unbelievable play, and the Texas reliever throwing nearly every pitch 98 - 99 mph. Wow.
You lose, you win, that's life...
ReplyDeleteThe two first shots are my favourites, with that heavy sky!
Great photos from Wednesday's fabulous game. I agree about the tension from last night. We'll see what's next.

ReplyDeleteParticularly like the first shot. So much action conveyed by the brilliance of the neon. BTW, what is Schnucks?
