Daffodils look like little brass instruments, something to play bright, tiny music. Maybe also bullhorns or loudspeakers, but they are too delicate for that. They also remind me of the high-speed photographs you see of the liquid plumes that form when a big drop falls into milk, only colorized and turned 90 degrees.
I took this while lying on my belly in Tower Grove park (likely puzzling the passers-by), lens in its face, so to speak, using a Lensbaby with a 10X macro kit. One of my teachers said that good photographers have dirty shirt fronts and knees.

ReplyDeleteIf that's true about the dirty fronts, you my friend must resemble Pig Pen. This is loud and bold and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say?
ReplyDeleteExquisite photo!
Loving your photography.
What a gorgeous macro shot! So glad to hear that photographers should have dirty fronts and knees. One day back in February I was appalled at how dirty I had gotten taking a photo!
ReplyDeleteAll you need is a good washing machine.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very much like spring.
