A last image from Sunday's Arab pro-democracy rally. An Egyptian man, now living in America, holds his native land's flag on the entrance to the Old Courthouse, with the Arch as a backdrop. Part of the Arch's symbolism is the freedom to move in radical new directions. I wish the same for Egypt.
Unfathomable costumes from the Idiotarod on Downtown St. Louis 365 today.
l'arche est solidaire, c'est bien
ReplyDeleteThe arch as a backdrop for photojournalism, c'est bien.
ReplyDeleteI've really appreciated your coverage of this rally, Bob. Your photos are superb. Sadly it looks like it's going to be a lot moe costly for the Libyans.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how you get the arch into anything and everything. Bravo!
Perfectly composed. I agree with Jilly, wonderful coverage of this event.

Lets hope for the same result in Libya.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved your arch series but this one touches my heart in a very special way. Go freedom go!
