As promised, the first of many pictures from the Halloween street party in our Central West End neighborhood. Maryland Plaza rocks with ghouls, zombies and, for some reason, quite a lot of cartoon characters. Everybody comes, including those old pals, Jesus and Satan. Well, they were friends once, weren't they? Having a drink together mellows old conflicts.
The caption to this should either be "Hell has frozen over" or "Quick! Grad a drink! Jesus is coming!"

It would be tough going to a street party dressed as Jesus. If there are any fountains or ponds nearby, everyone would expect him to walk across it, but he might have an urge to wash everyone's feet instead.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Halloween photo! Absolutely love the Central West End. When I was staying in St Louis for work, I spent many evenings dining there and enjoying an occasional street party.
