Eat STL

.
Burger Wars

The Taste of St. Louis has been around for a while. This year it moved to a new, bigger location downtown with many more restaurants represented. There were also big, scary corporate marketing displays in truck trailers like this one. The sign above is for the upscale, expensive hamburger joint in one of our many casinos. Below, the executive chef of one of those casinos demonstrates something or other, plus his brilliant smile. At the bottom, one of our favorite local restaurants, Everest Cafe, displays some of its delicious Nepalese cuisine.

  4. I remember enjoying this food celebration when I was working there. I also remember having lunch many, many times at the St. Louis Bread Company downtown.

  5. Well now I'm just hungry.

To answer your question, I don't know if brick stealing is an issue here or not. I know stealing copper is though.

  6. There's an obvious disparity in appearance between the executive chef's display vs. that of the Everest Cafe & Bar. But know which one's food I'd pick...

In fact I never have had Nepalese food. I'm always open to try anything new!
