From the Gypsy Caravan. One of the things I like about flea markets is the juxtaposition of random stuff on the sales tables. This one has a nice balance of winged creatures, colors and textures.
I'm going to a shoot today with the St. Louis Artist/Model/Photographer Co-op in a disused warehouse. Never been to one of their events before. Could be interesting. Could be pretty crazy.

I hope your shoots today produces some interesting photos for us to see. I love the juxtaposition of the angels and aircraft. Yes, indeed...wings!!
ReplyDeletePS. Went back to see it again, and it looks like a DC3; I used to think that they looked like parakeets when parked next to a jet on a tarmac. Love that little aircraft.
ReplyDeleteI'd call this one "On a wing and a prayer". Looking forward to the images you capture today.
ReplyDeleteOh Brattcat is pretty clever this early in the morning! I love the color as well.
ReplyDeleteI thought that Artist Co-Op was where you went every year and brought us the terrific portraits. Hmmm. Nude models? Well that could turn some cranks around here!

No, V, the place I go occasionally is the Maine Media Workshops. The last time I studied there was three years ago, when I took the portraiture course. And no nude models today, although some of them may be a bit provocative.
ReplyDeleteTwo wings and prayers. Those Meet up groups are a lot of fun. It's a great way to meet fellow photographers and learn new techniques from each other.
ReplyDeleteFlights of different kinds - of angels and airplanes.
