And on a couple of levels. Back home now, trying to return to the routine. But the Mississippi is rising again, just covering the riverside street below the Arch and heading higher. You might want to do your biking in a waterproof suit.
I can only hope the Arch Design Competition includes some measures to keep our river low. Of course we can and should do our part ourselves to keep the waters from rising. More rain barrels and less impermeable concrete to collect water in storm drains that deposit not only water but toxins and pollutants into the mississippi.
