Why this disruption of the delicate balance of natural cycles? By Wednesday, we'll be settling down in the antipodes, sort of, and I want to hold open Thursday's post for our STL DPB On The Road location. Come back tomorrow and find out where. Anyway, this pictures gives some idea of the Arch's distance from the rest of downtown. The tall building on the left is barely shorter than the monument, which illustrated the scale.

ReplyDeleteLove your arches, man.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great perspective. Can't wait to find out where you are...
ReplyDeleteAre you pulling my leg? No way is that building near the height of the Big A! Are you there yet, huh, huh??

PS This switcheroo is going to mess me up all day.
Interesting point about the comparison of the height of the building and the arch. Unless you've seen the arch, you just don't realize how high it really is.
