A playing field in Forest Park, possibly multi-purpose for soccer, American football and rugby. Completely empty on the beautiful late fall day when I took the picture.
What's the music I can't get out of my head: Edith Piaf singing La Vie En Rose, which for no obvious reason segued into The Ballad of Davy Crocket. I must have a screw loose somewhere, as they say. In fact, when I started the blog I considered using the nickname Loose Associations. Instead, I opted for my common label.

une perspective un peu penchante, comme cela il est plus simple de marquer un field goal ;o))
ReplyDeleteOh I'm going to my ITunes right now and listen to Edith. Did you know our very own Diederick at Arona Daily Photo does a great version of it en français as well? :) I think I could plink out a passable version of Davy Crockett as a wee girl. Now it's stuck in my head. Screws loose all over the place here.
ReplyDeleteNice monochrome today B!

You do such interesting things with arches and rectangles. This goal post makes such an interesting shadow and such an interesting frame. Perhaps there's no screw loose at all, you just see the world in multiple tracks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need to hum Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds...
ReplyDeleteDon't know anything about American football, but don't get me started on rugger. You won't be able to stop me. The empty field is eerie somehow.
What a beautiful image. Love the perspective and shadows.
ReplyDeleteBiiiig field. My dog would love to run there....
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me humming both tunes...I am going to put on my Edith Piaf cd to drown out images of Fess Parker and that tune.
Bob, I will have a photo sort of for you (will link!) on Sunday....check Belgrade then!
