The Thursday Arch Series is back from a week off. This picture is looking not quite straight up from underneath. It's a little overblown but that's to make a point.
WHAT'S NOT FINISHED: winter. Think spring.
TOMORROW: back to portraits of St. Louis artists with Barbara Merlotti, who does mixed media, photo collage, painting and drawing.

Wooohoo! I was looking forward to this and am not disappointed! Gorgeous clouds!
ReplyDeleteI've seen so many artistic photographs of this arch, and this is one of the best.
ReplyDeleteOoooh...good one!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo. I love the clouds!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you mean by "overblown" but I like this a lot. Ditto for the new image up on Gateway. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteWicked cool shot!
ReplyDeleteThis shot is better than dare I say... Jim Richardson's? Of this same angle... :) You go Bob!
ReplyDeletewow, superb!
ReplyDeleteThis photo looks surreal, like a scene out of a sci-fi movie. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think it's the emphasis on the clouds and rays of light that give this photo an artificial feel, like movie magic.
What an amazing pic of the arch! Phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog-easy to get through since you are photo-based.
I think it's great that you're promoting St. Louis artists.
