Sort of the same idea as yesterday's picture but with a little more arts & crafts added. This is a large schoolyard next to the condo development where I live. Once again, it's an HDR, shot handheld. I hand painted the grass at the bottom to make it less dull and put a mask over the entire sky, fiddling with its edges around the trees, then messing with levels, contrast, color balance and saturation. So, it's kind of a student project.
Sorry no comments on your posts today since it's a travel day for us.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU: dinner tonight at Cafe Trio in Kansas City with some of the in-laws. Been there before - yum yum.
TOMORROW: Thursday Arch Series.

Another nostalgic view for me. Not that I have any memory of those colors as a kid. I do remember reluctant soccer practices on that field, the Clark School walk-a-thon, etc . . .
ReplyDeleteAn excellent shot, Bob! I like these "dry" contrasting colours!
ReplyDeleteThey say Saint Louis's light is akin to Paris and Rome. This proves it! Even if it is manipulated a bit, he city does have beautiful sun light at dawn and dusk. Bravo!
