Two pictures from the Earth Day celebrations in Forest Park. My husband and I were there earlier in the day than Strangetastes, when there was a little more going on, but (I thought) these dancers were by far the coolest thing to see. There's a split opinion between Strangetastes and me; he prefers the fire-breather, while I prefer the leaning dancer... so I posted both.

Both of these are fantastic shots. The first certainly attracts attention and you caught it at just the right moment. The second is also quite wonderful in its sense of movement and rich detail.

ReplyDeleteThe photo with cracheuse firepower is magnificent. The first time I took a picture with fire, the picture was completely dark, I had not paid attention that the fire ate all the light.
I like the fire-breathing woman, but I sure do admire the muscles on the dancer!
