No arch to be seen in this image, just a pillar. This was shot straight at the north leg from Eads Bridge on a cloudless day. The picture shows the plates that make up the skin of the Arch. It looks monolithic. Did Stanly Kubrick know the Arch's designer, Eero Saarinen?TOMORROW: Energizer Bunny (finally)

ReplyDeleteIn the portal, I thought "skyscraper," then decided no, it has to be the arch! It is amazing how many different angles there are.
