Most of the folks who commute on Metro have a tendency to complain about all that is awful regarding this mass transit system: overcrowded trains, constant breakdowns, tourists who don't understand escalator etiquette (stand right, walk left), multi-jurisdictional bickering, fare increases and on and on. It's nice to hear something positive for a change! Hope you enjoyed visiting our city.Janet Kincaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396294382570650966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740227464249118134.post-68701090376375066182008-03-01T05:34:00.000-06:002008-03-01T05:34:00.000-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Janet Kincaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396294382570650966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740227464249118134.post-44410306914713445772008-02-27T17:53:00.000-06:002008-02-27T17:53:00.000-06:00This is just a great example of an outstanding and...This is just a great example of an outstanding and user friendly design!<BR/>I would like to see and hear it myself, but in photo the station looks stunningly wonderful, :) if one can say so.Karlis Beinertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580416175106132790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740227464249118134.post-44781910667913001182008-02-27T15:13:00.000-06:002008-02-27T15:13:00.000-06:00What great photos - I really get a sense of the hu...What great photos - I really get a sense of the huge space. Glasgow has an underground train system as well as the overland trains, but huge space isn't something you could accuse our underground of having. We call it the Clockwork Orange. They always make me laugh, they look like little toy trains, though that's probably because I used to live in London so that's how I still imagine tube trains to be like.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740227464249118134.post-71887162646885760352008-02-27T12:59:00.000-06:002008-02-27T12:59:00.000-06:00I love the first shot.I love the first shot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1740227464249118134.post-40652610562615758082008-02-27T09:43:00.000-06:002008-02-27T09:43:00.000-06:00Quite the asthetis system, very appealing. I suppose it does help those along the line, but does nothing for the west side of town, nor does it travel to St. Paul. Someday, perhaps.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06487228375145939026noreply@blogger.com
