Ninty Degrees To The Right

And a few minutes earlier than the shot in yesterday's post. The drama of the storm front over the Mississippi, Eads Bridge and East St. Louis. Here in the Midwest that yellow sky sometimes signals a tornado.

Yup, that's the kind of sky I grew up seeing every now and then and it meant seek shelter. I remember one time when my family headed out to the shopping center to do some grocery shopping and by the time we left the store, the sky looked like this only with a bit of greenish tinge. It took us 40 minutes to make our way home (a trip that should take about 7 minutes) and when we arrived at our house, two huge trees at our house had uprooted. One was across the street and the other was through the kitchen roof. Ahhh...memories.
