Abstract Trees

Garden Glow at MoBot 2015-11-20 3

This is what meets your eye when you step into the garden from the entry building. I assume they are meant to resemble abstract Christmas trees using the nightlight theme. The second image makes me think of a very spare Buddhist altar. The general shapes and symmetries are right but it could use some gold.

Light trees only blossoming in the dark. Must be a new kind of plant but they looks great. End of the month we get such a spectacle also in amsterdam and strange enough the amsterdam botanical garden plays also a not unimportant role in the whole spectacle.

The Garden is always beautiful, but especially this time of year!

Yesterday I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden and they have a new light show up there.. I was there during the day so I didn't see the lights in the dark. I'll have to go back and get some shots. Ours is by an artist name Bruce Munro. I do enjoy these special events so much. The only thing I don't like is walking around in the cold. I'm guessing it was a lot colder there than it is here.

Some cities here have these kinds of trees in the streets...

I'm reminded of the Christmas ball ornaments, only in a new arrangement.
