What's He Doing Here?

Jesus At The Gun Rally

Don't know who he was or where he came from. Never seen him before. But when I was photographing the gun rally as the shooters marched toward the Arch, I ran into, well, Jesus, or a Jesus impersonator. He was standing on the corner of 8th and Market, blessing whatever passed by. That included me and all the firearms. Didn't notice any difference afterward.

The letterblock necklace spells out  “I (heart) U” J E S U S #1 “I (heart) U”. Appropriate, I suppose.

Not as scary as the gun people, but still freaks me out a bit.

At first I thought it was Moses--but the cross came after Moses.

And he's wearing a ring!

As Mrs. B used to exclaim in my formative years, "Jesus, Mary and Joseph, what have you gotten into B-man?"

A bit unsettling, but then I find that of most street preachers.

He looks a little old for my idea of Jesus, and I think he's holding a Tilley hat. :) I like his walking stick.

Caught a nasty bug in France and haven't been visiting, but am better now.

The world is full of all sorts of people who don't think or act like you or me.
