A Rainbow In Curved Air

Arch 2014-07-27 6

The Arch sometimes reminds me of Terry Riley's seminal work of contemporary music with the name in the caption. Space is curved anyway. You have to think of the colors of this rainbow in a different way. It's not hard when you stand beneath it. No question but that it's an alien presence.

I may have a post tomorrow from tonight's Kansas City Royal's baseball game or maybe another from this Arch series. It depends on time. Doesn't it always?

I never thought of it that way, but the Arch is curved like a rainbow....

My Sox are taking a machette to the lineup. Lester gone! Gomes gone! Who's next????
Life ain't no rainbow for me right now.

I really like that second take on the Arch.

If you make it to the Playoffs, you'll love Lackey. I hope Craig's 2013 WS ave comes back. I feared him last October.

Your first photo is an unusual look at the Arch.

I was sorry to see John Lackey leave the Sox, but Craig and Kelly seem to be potentially helpful additions.

Your second shot is fantastic Bob, love the three arches of the bridge in the background.. and you're right the Arch does look as if it could have been placed there by an alien architect :)
