Art Hill

2013-12-14 Art Hill 1

The best use of the great slope below the art museum: Art Hill is the city's premier sledding venue. King Louie keeps watch over the children and their parents.

The snow was thin and you can see grass poking through in spots. It will be warmer this week and soon the snow will be gone.

At least they made the most of it and he's probably wondering what he's doing there, freezing his **** off...

Some things do not change. Art Hill was the premier sledding venue when I grew up in St. Louis in the 1960's.

One can never have too much snow, after all.

It does look like a good setting for sledding!

Your first shot is wonderful, Bob. It is as if a stage designer handed out differently colored parkas and boards for each kid, in order to perfect the tableau.

You are absolutely right about the two women. Physically, Kate is flawed and Danielle is quite classic, but Kate is exceptionally warm and friendly and funny and even sexy, while Danielle has a cold beauty with an impenetrable caution.

We have plenty of snow. Should I direct the plows to shift it down your way?
