In The Good Old Summertime

Citygarden 2013-08-07 5

One nice thing  about Citygarden is the water features. Children and their parents are welcome to splash through them, surprising in today's world of liability insurance and litigation. Such a scene on an August day needs an ice cream truck.

I am so low on material. What's going on around here?

Water features and ice cream could possibly be the perfect pairing for summer. You'll never run out of material Bob, you have too much imagination!

That top shot is classic summer fun, bringing to mind memories of running through the sprinklers!!!

Fine summer shots, Bob. I'm often near a popular fountain in downtown Portland where folks love to get wet. Last time I was there, I swear a woman got off her electric scooter, got herself good and wet, then returned to the scooter and drove away. It was warm, for Portland.

Fountains and an ice cream truck! I love both. Three fine photos. (When you get low, Bob, just space them into three posts instead of one . . . we will be none the wiser.)

Now that's my idea of fun! All three images give a very lively idea of life in the summer round your city.
I wonder if you can imagine how exotic the ice cream truck is to me here in France?
