Ste. Genevieve

.
Dinner At The Inn Ste. Gemme

We are in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, (founded 1735, population 4,410) for the weekend, staying at the historic Inn St. Gemme Beauvais. It's a quiet little town along the Mississippi River. The inn serves classic French cuisine at dinner on Friday and Saturday night - it was superb and modestly priced. It all seems very bucolic, but down the street at an art gallery...

:-) Surprising indeed but I think I actually like it. Lovely place, hope you are having a grand time!

I"m not sure about that at all, but I like the inn though and I'd like to taste some of that French cuisine!

Looks like you had a wonderful anniversary.

Although I lived in St. Louis from 6th grade though high school, I have never been to St. Genevieve, although I have heard -- and now seen -- good things about it.

Bucolic is good now and then Bob, looks like a wonderful place to spend the weekends and celebrate special occasions!

Nice place but that final shot is...weird, to say the least!

Lovely area to get away to. At first I wondered if you were getting all soft and kitschy on us with the photo of the boy hugging his dog. Then I saw the last one. Nope, irreverent Bob is still at the helm.
