Eros Congelato

.
The view from my office window down to Citygarden on a cold, snowy day. Everybody's favorite sculpture, Eros Bendato, is frozen to its plinth. Pertanto, congelato.

He appears to have a phantom of the opera type mask on!

And the weather report from St Louis, MO: many casulties have been reported, amongst which Pinocchio and Eros.

I love the first shot with all those curves and footsteps.

Great post, Bob. Makes me think of the poor Colossus of Rhodes.

Bob these are great! The first one gives me a scary feeling of devastation.

Therefore, frozen. Yes, most certainly!

The top photo is nice. I love the lines. The bottom photo is even better, because it reminds me of The Awakening and the many ways in which that can be photographed. Cool sculpture but, brrrrrr...

Hi, Bob! Been enjoying your snowy sculptures. Sometimes I have trouble accessing your blog from my home computer, which freezes up on me when I click on it, pun intended! I am now writing from work...sshhhhh.
