Blood and Rain

.
It rained all day and all evening in New York on Saturday. Street parking is hard to find in the city, particularly in Manhattan, but this "emergency blood transport vehicle" found a place to rest in the downpour just outside the restaurant where the family dined that night. The choice of the retro-looking Chevy is interesting.

When I saw the title I almost boogied, but thankfully no gore here, just a great shot with a timeless feel! So did the rain cramp your style? I"m suspecting not judging from today's post.

I guess it is not as bad to have a blood transport vehicle parked in front of the restaurant than an ambulance. I am sure that the restaurant would prefer a fancy sports car or luxury car out front.

Nice car, wet evening. I mean, torrential evening. Excellent photo, kind of timeless.

The retro Chevy is a good choice for a monochrome image.

So are we to conclude that dinner was bloody good? Was blood sausage ordered?

The inquiring mind of «Louis la Vache» wants to know...

I love this neighborhood shot of the city in its rain skin.

Oh great, now I"m picturing someone lying in a NY hospital awaiting an emergency blood transfusion, while the driver here is sipping a nice Merlot with his girlfriend on the way!
